I met Giacomo when Goblin went through one of their many breakups and Goblin Rebirth was formed.
He joined the band and we also occasionally worked together with other artists.
My immediate impression was that Giacomo is simply an alien! There is absolutely nothing the guy can't play. He has the best chops in the world, looks like the rockstar he is, and is a master of tone. What's more to like?
Giacomo and I also play in Kcrimsonick, a band dedicated to early King Crimson music, and he nails even the most impossible lines.
On "Exposed" Giacomo plays a couple of wonderful solos in the song "Farewell Toytown". These tracks are all about expression and not having to play all the notes in the world, even if you can!
Thanks Giacomo!
