My friend Lorenzo Feliciati introduced me to Lucrezio about 15 years ago. We began to perform together in Lorenzo's quartet and played together at the European Bass Day a couple of times. Since then I got Lucrezio to play on several projects I arrnaged and produced, including the album "Arte" by Bungaro.
Lucrezio is an extremely versatile drummer and great sound engineer. He is a reknowned jazz musician but is open to all styles. It is a pleasure to work with him in the studio and on stage.
In 2013 he played drums at a big concert I directed, dedicated to Vinicius De Moraes and featuring Ornella Vanoni, Celso Fonseca and Carla Cocco, amongst others.
Lucrezio plays on the track "Farewell Toytown". His unique feel created a perfect backbone for the song.
Thanks Luk!
